Helen Turner – Principal

FDS.RCS (Eng); MOrth.RCS (Eng); MSc (Lond) GDC No: 69525 (Birm 1993)

Helen qualified with Hons from Birmingham Dental School in 1993. She started her three year full time specialist training at Guys Dental School, London in 1997. She has worked at BSOP since 2000 and took over as Principal in 2011. Helen is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, the British Dental Association and the European Orthodontic Society and represents the Bedfordshire Orthodontists on the Local Dental Committee.

She lives with her husband Mark, an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and their three children.

Her Special Interest is in Adult Orthodontics.

Lindsy Holm – Associate Orthodontist

MClinDent (Orthodontics) M.F.D.S (ENG) M.ORTH., R.C.S (ENG) GDC No: 80554

Lindsy qualified from Bristol Dental School in 2002. She gained experience in various aspects of dentistry including General Dental Practice, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Community Dentistry before starting her three year specialist training at the Eastman Dental Institute and Peterborough City Hospital in 2009. Following completion of her specialist training, Lindsy continued to work in Peterborough City Hospital. She joined the team at BSOP in October 2016. Lindsy is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, British Dental Association and European Orthodontic Society.

She lives with her husband, James and their two children.

Supraja Korvi – Associate Orthodontist

GDC No: 71966

Supraja qualified from Leeds Dental School in 1996. She then went to gaining a wide range of dental experience working in general practice, private practice, community, and a few dental specialties including oral and Maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry.

She was accepted for specialist training in Orthodontics at the Royal London Hospital and Ipswich Hospital in 2008. After gaining Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh she continued working in Hospital firstly with Buckinghamshire NHS Trust and now with Milton Keynes NHS Foundation Trust.

She joined the team in September 2021. Supraja’s dental experience and knowledge allows her to provide personalised treatment for both children and adults with varying complexities.

She lives with her husband and their two children.

Sihem Laichoubi – Associate Orthodontist

GDC No: 287861

Sihem qualified dental school in 2017. She then went on to specialise in Orthodontics and earned her specialty degree in 2020. Prior to moving to the UK, Sihem lived in Paris. She is a member of the British Orthodontic Society, the British Dental Association and the European Orthodontic Society.

She has gained experience treating both children and adults.

Melanie Bubb – Orthodontic Therapist

Dip Orth Therapy RCS(Eng) GDC No: 124948

Melanie is a registered Orthodontic Therapist, she qualified from Leeds Dental Hospital in 2008 as one of the first cohort of Orthodontic Therapists in the country. She has tutored on the course and is currently an examiner for the Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy for the Royal College of Surgeons England. She is married to Craig and has 2 children.

Zoe Brown – Practice Manager

GDC No: 110701

Zoe is a Registered Dental Nurse and she has been with BSOP since 1988. Her dedication to the practice had evolved her role into a Practice Manager. She has many years of experience and her loyalty to the practice is a true reflection of her dedication to Patient Care. She has extensive knowledge in all areas of Orthodontics and the capability to make the patients journey within the practice as smooth as possible.

Zoe is married to Owen and she has four Step daughters.

Caroline – Reception Team

Caroline & Lorraine are our front of house reception team. They are often the first people our patients meet. It is therefore their marked experience in customer care and her knowledge that helps to put our patients minds at ease and make their journey at this practice, comfortable and enjoyable. Plus they get to greet the patients beaming smiles once the braces come off.
